The Surprising Difference Between Kisses Of Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie Revealed
This year has been eventful for the British Royal Family; Prince Harry married American actress, Meghan Markle, Prince William, and Kate welcomed their third child, and Princess Eugenie married her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank. However, there are many differences between Kate, Meghan and Eugenie like the way they kissed their partners after their wedding. Let’s see what this entails.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
It has been seven years since Prince William and Kate Middleton walked down the aisle in an impressive ceremony viewed by millions all over the world. They now have three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, who was born earlier this year. Sources close to the royal couple state that they are still just as in love as they were back then.
Additionally, Kate is showing everyone that her place in the royal family is just as important as any, and she uses her fashion knowledge to benefit British society. Kate married William on April 29, 2011, but their union was almost controversial because the Duchess was not noble, and the Prince broke all kinds of rules by marrying her.
Both of them looked pretty nervous during the ceremony, but their love was shining brightly. Everyone remembers their kiss shared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, and body language expert, Blanca Cobb, has some insightful details about it.
"It was their wedding day! They should have been touching and embracing heart-to-heart. It signals a disconnect, since people who are really into each other automatically close their eyes to feel the moment, the breath of the other person, and the sensation of lips touching.”
The expert also stated that their body language shows that being formal in certain situations is better because Prince William might be king someday. They also opened their eyes at different moments, which indicates that it’s hard to be in sync when they are at official events and that maybe, Kate is still about shy or embarrassed about doing that in front of the public.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
We know that Harry should always be thankful to his big brother, who paved the way for him to marry an American woman. Comparing the kiss that Harry and Meghan shared after their wedding this past May 19th, Cobb explained that it is not surprising that this couple showed more physical intimacy after their ceremony than William and Kate.
The newlyweds seemed to be more comfortable with public displays of affection, while the older couple preferred to keep things a bit more private. It cannot be a coincidence that Prince Harry also decided to wed an ordinary woman, and although marrying someone outside nobility is not prohibited or frowned upon anymore, it is still surprising.
Furthermore, their union also means that the new family members could face problems trying to follow royal protocol, but we digress. Their wedding kiss was almost like the ones in romantic movies, and Blanca Cobb also analyzed it from all angles, stating that Harry wet his lips before kissing Meghan, which is a sign of anticipation.
“And Meghan turns her body toward Harry to accept his kiss, their bodies like magnets drawing them toward each other. Both Harry and Meghan close their eyes to enjoy their prolonged kiss, even though Harry’s eyes linger on Meghan before he closes them.”
The audience applauded the tender moment fervently because the couple seemed to have forgotten about the rest of the world.
“As they break the kiss, Meghan locks eyes with her Prince. Her look is flirtatious and full of love. Both Harry and Meghan's eyes linger on each other as they pull away — it’s as if they don’t want to look anywhere else. They can’t get enough of each other!”
Moreover, even though most of Meghan’s family seemed to be trying to stop their union, the former actress showed her deep bond with the prince, which was clearly seen by everyone. The latest royal weddings in Britain have caused quite the stir because they are almost reminiscent of another time where love was more romantic.
Mr. Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie
Last week, we were treated to another royal wedding, where Princess Eugenie married businessman Jack Christopher Brooksbank. Even though their marriage was not such a hot topic as the previously mentioned couples, it was a still huge event for British people. They walked down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel with many people in attendance.
Aside from members of the royal family, celebrities like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell were invited to the event, which had a guest list of 850 people. Eugenie’s dress was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, with a unique arrangement for her upper back; it was utterly revealing so that her scoliosis surgery scar was displayed.
Viewers noticed a huge difference between the weddings of these three couples. We have already mentioned the differences between both of Lady Diana’s sons, but what about the latest couple? Well, Jack kissed his bride, but he also hugged her, leaving his hand poised on her belly after the kiss. Therefore, Blanca Cobb shared some insights.
"It's his way of silently saying, 'You're my world, I'm going to hold all of you.' The stomach is very intiate, since it's right above pleasure zone and right underneath her breast. It's not necessarily a sexual thing. It's a great sign. You don't want to break away from someone who has your heart on a beautiful occasion.”
Their contact could even be seen as a breach of protocol, so Eugenie pulled away a bit forcefully and giggled. Cobb said that even though she is not that high in the royal line, she still needed to maintain the rules in public. On another note, this couple did not inherit any titles upon their wedding like the other couples. Eugenie could take her husband’s name, but that’s it.
We had no idea that there was a difference between all these kisses, and how they might show people’s personalities. We love learning new things that would be overlooked otherwise. If you liked this article, share it with your friends while dreaming of a fairytale wedding. See you next time!
