The Reasons Why Prince Harry & Meghan Markle May Drift Apart From William & Kate

Since Prince Harry got married, we have loved every single minute of the new Royal Fabulous Four composed of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Like some kind of power rangers group, these four are more powerful when they're together, which is the reason for the lovely moniker.

Moreover, the two couples are representations of a millennials monarchy, making them closer to the young public. So it is not a surprise that everyone goes crazy when they all appear in public. Sadly, our royal dream might be coming to an end soon. Apparently, the Royal Family might have some significant changes on the heels.

The two couples may be distancing from each other and, as a result, we won't be able to see them in royal appearances as the Fab Four that often. It has a meaningful explanation, so if you want to know it, the only thing that you should do is to scroll down. Today, we will unveil the reason for this separation.

But why?

To our monarchists, we have to tell them: do not panic! This does not mean that Royal Fab Four are breaking up. This decision is not the consequence of an argument or irreconcilable differences, as what happens with marriages and Hollywood negotiations. But we bet that many of you are wondering what the separation is about.

According to what a royal insider told the Telegraph, William and Harry, with their respective spouses, are thinking of dividing the joint royal household court that they have had for nine years. Rather than something new, it would be the formalization of something that has been happening slowly behind the scenes.

Now that both are married men, with growing families, and with entirely dissimilar futures ahead, it is more than understandable that they want to do so. The 36-year-old brother has been married to Kate for more than seven years, have three children together, and one day will become the monarch of the nation.

It means that his future is pretty much completely mapped. Then we have the 34-year-old brother that just tied the knot this year in May with Meghan, is waiting for the birth of his first child in the spring of 2019, and being the sixth in line to the throne, it is improbable that he becomes King one day.

A matter of time

There should be no rivalry at all about it. Now that the siblings are adults, they know their roles, and that hasn't prevented them from being close. According to Victoria Howard, a royal historian, the divergence news is not surprising at all, since their personal interests have been more evident throughout the years.

"Now they can pursue those more clearly. Now, Meghan will pick her own charity causes and patronages, while Harry helps with the Commonwealth, so they’ll both travel a lot, while William and Kate can get to the business of training to be King and consort."

What is a royal court?

According to The Sunday Times, the idea is to create two separate courts at Kensington Palace, so the remaining question is: what is exactly that? For royal connoisseurs, this term is not new, but for us, the commoners, might sound a little strange.

It is an old-fashioned term, but in our modern times of the 21st century, it is a noble way to say staff. It covers private secretaries, PAs, dressers, security, and any employee that is considered part of the Princes' team. Their royal court took shape back in 2005 when the brothers had their own private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.

However, the formal Household was established in 2009, initially based in St. James's Palace, and then moved to Kensington Palace. Therefore, nine years together don't go unnoticed. It must be a difficult decision for all but a necessary one.

It is worth noting that the current monarchy, Elizabeth II and Philip, has a joint household court because they both work at Kensington Palace under the interests of the Queen of England. It has certainly worked for them after 70 years together.

The outcome

The split would allow the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to focus on a less well-trodden path with the freedom they possess. This includes royal duties, such as responsibilities, trips, and engagements, and charitable work, just to name a few.

Meghan once said that she wanted to support women's issues, and she has. We have an excellent example in the powerful lecture she recently gave on New Zealand's 125th anniversary of women's suffrage during the royal tour. According to a source, William and Harry have different outlooks on life, so splitting the household was obvious.

"There is a gulf in the style and approach to the type of work that William and Kate will increasingly do as future head of state and consort, and Harry and Meghan, who have more of a blank canvas with their roles… William and Harry’s double act has naturally been supplanted by the two couples and their families."

When?

According to the British newspaper, the division is likely to take place in the spring of 2019 after Meghan gives birth to the first child of the couple. The chances are that anything drastic will happen before the arrival of the new baby, but it is safe to assume that they will start preparing everything soon.

What will happen after that?

We are so sorry, guys, but the end of an era is coming soon. But thankfully for all the Royal Fab Four fanswe might still see them together from time to time. Maire Claire reported that, according to insiders, the families will have separate offices and personnel but will keep a close communication between the two.

It is not completely clear what is going to change. Both families will continue to have their residences at Kensington Palace, and they have charity shared endeavors such as the Royal Foundation, which cares for four principal themes: wildlife and conservation, mental health, young people, and armed forces community.

It will undoubtedly be the end of a stage for Harry and Will after being so close following their mother's death. But are sure that more exciting things will come for these blue-blood members and their wives, and we will still enjoy some of our beloved Fab Four. Share this news with others that love them as much as we do.
