Famous Celebrity Couples Whose Age Gap Seems Alarming To Many People

When it comes to those on the red carpet, discrimination holds no ties in the romance department, well, at least not when it comes to those birthday candles on an A-list boyfriend. We take a look at some celebrities who married women who are young enough to be their daughters. So be prepared for a shocking reveal!

1. Clint Eastwood and Dina Ruiz

When you think of Eastwood, you think of that handsome cowboy whose famous line is, "Do you feel lucky, punk?". It comes to no surprise that this guy would have women swooning over him in a heartbeat. Clint and Dina were married for an outstanding 17 years and wed in 1996. They have a staggering 35-year-age difference between them and may have gotten the best of them. Eastwood was 65 when he married Dina and is known for being very private when it comes to his life and relationship.

Dina signed up for a show called Mrs Eastwood & Company, which Clint naturally objected to. Apparently, halfway through the 1st season, he stopped wearing his wedding ring. They were going through a really rough patch, so she found comfort in her high school friend, Scot Fisher, and went on to marry him in 2016. As for Clint, he was reported seen with his new 52-year-old girlfriend, Christina Sandera, since 2017. We guess some age gaps are there for a reason.

2. Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden

If you don't know who Courtney is, she's a former pageant queen and claimed her fame by marrying the middle-aged actor, Doug Hutchison, when she was at the tender age of 16! If that is not shocking enough, he was 50-years-old at the time. Now that is one huge age gap. This makes a whopping 34-year age gap between the couple, and this landed Stodden on the shows Couples Therapy and Celebrity Big Brother. Due to her young age, she had her mom to thank for co-signing all those nuptials.

After the loving couple made their almost seven-year relationship public on social media, they finally divorced in 2018. Stodden's mother was first in line to admit that their union was a big mistake, and we can agree because of the ridiculous age. According to their issues, Stodden's mother was also interested in Doug romantically, and that caused problems between her daughter and Doug.

3. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard

We all love Johnny and have heard some pretty outrageous things about his behavior, so this won't come to much of a surprise to his fans. His relationship with Amber was sort of a media blitz that only those in the movies would dream about. The couple fell in love on the set of The Rum Diary in 2011 and tied the knot in 2015. At that time, Depp was 51 years old, and Heard was 28 years old. While everything appeared rosy on the outside in public, their love story had an underlying dark side.

Sadly, their relationship was an abusive one and Entertainment Tonight made indications of this reality in 2014. Soon to follow was a nasty divorce with some terrifying footage of Depp's violent outbursts, as we've all seen on social media. Then suddenly, a $7 million settlement was donated to charity by Heard, according to Variety. The couple, however, made a statement to their public fans that their relationship was intensely passionate, and sometimes involved violence, but they were always bound by love. Well, in their case, love hurts.

4. Anthony Bourdain and Ottavia Busia

If you know Busia, you'll recognize her as being an MMA fighter. Anthony's second wife, Ottavia, was 22 years younger than him, and their relationship was certainly not a conventional one. According to People, from the moment this Italian-born tough gal went on her first date with the celebrity chef, he was completely enamored. After just two weeks, Bourdain divorced his first wife and got together with Ottavia.

They wasted no time and got married, starting a family of their own, but according to the New York Times, Busia had a hard time dealing with Bourdain's fame. Whenever he traveled to film his shows, she decided to stay behind and focus on her MMA training instead. Understandably, they grew apart and eventually split in 2016 after a nine-year marriage. In June 2018, Bourdain passed away and was dating the famous Italian actress, Asia Argento, who was just 19 years younger than him.

5. David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman

Here is our lover-boy from Friends. David got married for the first time when he was 43 years old. That's not a bad age to settle down, don't you agree? His British wife, Zoe, is an artist. However, was just 25 years old at the time. In some ways, their relationship resembled that of the infamous TV romance of Ross and Rachel. So where David was confident on the outcome of their future, Zoe had other ideas.

Buckman was reportedly seen waitressing at a club in London's West End, and Schwimmer was a customer. They eventually married in a secret ceremony in 2010, but according to People, they broke up in April 2017. That definitely went in the wrong direction for them. They still keep in contact to support their daughter, so as far as their relationship goes, their love life is on hold.

6. David Foster and Katharine McPhee

David and Katharine share a 35-year-age difference, which is a steep climb indeed! For these two, it appears that their love was written in the stars, or so it seemed. According to People, McPhee was a contestant on American Idol, and that's where she first met Foster in 2006. Though she didn't quite catch his eye on the first day, he soon noticed her and felt that instant connection.

McPhee is about two years younger than Foster's daughter, comedian Erin Foster, which is incredibly awkward if you wanted our opinion. Thankfully, the two get along and even joke around on social media posts. The couple decided to announce their engagement in public in the summer of 2018. This may come as a surprise, but David has four ex-wives.

7. Lady Gaga and Christian Carino

Well, this lady certainly needs no introduction. According to Glamour, Mother Monster confirmed her engagement to her agent, Christian, in October 2018 which is the perfect month for Gaga, of course, being Halloween season. It was only confirmed weeks after the rumors went viral because Gaga's tattoos of Carino's face definitely fueled this suspicion. Previously, Gaga was engaged to Taylor Kinney but broke it off as her career had taken a significant toll on her love life even before they split.

The famous singer stated that she lost her ex, Matthew Thomas, an American stylist and former director at Haus of Gaga, as soon as she sold 10 million records, and then another ex, named Luc Carl, who is a musician and club owner, to name a few, when she sold 30 million. So it seemed the more popular and successful she became, the more lonely her life became. She found security in her agent, and that's why their relationship hit off like a bomb! Despite the 17-year-old gap between them, Carino still asked Gaga's father for permission.

What did you think about these age gaps and how do you feel about these couples? Do you think they were best suited for one another?
