15+ New TV Shows That Probably Won't Last Long According To People's Reaction
Now that we are nearing the end of fall, TV season is drastically making some changes. Like the weather, we can't help which shows are soon on the chopping board to die out with the coming cold. Viewers are certainly feeling the tension for some of their favorite shows, so we've decided to put a little survey together to find out what new network TV shows the fans think are in danger of getting the boot.
We've collected a list of possible sitcoms with their rating and a percentage of people who participated in the survey to clarify which ones they thought sure to be axed. So, let us have a look, and we are crossing fingers that your favorite is not on this cancellation list.
21. ABC Network — The Alec Baldwin Show
IMDB Description: A weekly talk show that is hosted by actor, Alec Baldwin.
IMDB Rating: 2.9
According to surveys, 29.87% believe this talk show will soon be canceled. The ABC network moved the show from its regular time slot on the Sunday night line-up to Saturdays in November, which doesn't appear to be good news for its longevity.
20. ABC Network — The Conners
IMDb Description: Follow-up to the comedy series Roseanne (1988), centering on the family members of the matriarch after her sudden death.
IMDb Rating: 4.7
We found that 28.1% of the people who took the survey think that the Roseanne spin-off is doomed. While The Conners appears to have a steady rating, it only seems to be drawing half the audience in. This could indeed mean that it won't pick up for another season.
19. ABC Network — Dancing with the Stars: Juniors
IMDb Description: This is a spin-off of Dancing With the Stars which pair celebrity kids with professional junior ballroom dancers. Together they perform choreographed routines, which are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts.

18. CBS Network — Magnum P.I.
IMDb Description: This is about an ex-Navy SEAL who returns home from Afghanistan. He uses his military skills to become a private investigator in Hawaii.
IMDb Rating: 5.2
Not surprisingly, the reboot is not as beloved as the original show from the 80s. The 21.35% of people who think the Magnum P.I. reboot will get canceled are probably right, since the show is struggling to get good ratings. CBS, however, has faith, but we can't guarantee they'll make it past the first season.
17. CBS Network — Murphy Brown
IMDb Description: This is about the personal and professional misadventures of an overly-opinionated but beloved woman who works as a Television journalist.
IMDb Rating: 6.8
Sadly, the reboot has not been well-received by audiences or critics, and 20.91% think the revival will get axed. It most probably will, given its poor reception by both critics and audiences, and its lack of momentum when comparing to reboots like Roseanne and The Conners.
16. CBS Network — God Friended Me
IMDb Description: This comedy is about an atheist whose life is turned upside down when God adds him as a friend on Facebook.
IMDb Rating: 6.6
God is somewhat active on social media in this drama and 18.69% people think the spiritual meets social media drama is not such a hit. While it isn't a hit with television critics, it has seemed to develop a substantial audience that faithfully tunes in every week. No pun intended. So, for now, it looks like we'll be enjoying the show.
15. FOX Network — Rel
IMDb Description: Here we have a story about a successful comic who tries to put his life back on track after a hopelessly failed marriage.
IMDb Rating: 4.1
This is not such an unusual story where the character, in this case, Rel, finds out his wife is having an affair with his barber. 18.58% think the show is heading for cancellation, and we believe they are right because it was not really well-received by critics, and didn't generate enough "buzz" to keep it going. Only time will tell with this one.
14. CBS Network — The Neighborhood
IMDb Description: This is about a friendly guy from the Midwest who tries to fit into a tough LA neighborhood.
IMDb Rating: 5.6
You may recognize Max Greenfield from New Girl. Now, we get to see him in action on this sad, yet disordered new sitcom. 17.04% of people who engaged in the survey think this sitcom will get dropped, though CBS believed in it enough to order a full first season. Even though it may finish out the first season, we have no hopes for a second.
13. ABC Network — Single Parents
IMDb Description: This is a group of single parents who decide to form their own support system as they are struggling to raise their kids while attempting to start new relationships.
IMDb Rating: 6.3
This show is apparently is still finding its voice, but certainly has potential. 16.92% of people who participated in the survey think it will be canceled, but it has a lot going for it. It has a great cast which includes Leighton Meester, Brad Garrett, and Taran Killam. So there is hope!
12. ABC Network — The Kids Are Alright
IMDb Description: This comedy is about a pair of working-class parents in an Irish-Catholic family, who try to raise their eight kids during the 1970s.
IMDb Rating: 7.3
The ensemble comedy is set in the 1970s and actually has an excellent rating. 16.04% don't think that this will last, but the critics appear to like it just as much as audiences do, and it's maintained its audience, which is great! This is one of the most successful shows this year, so we don't really see it being axed any time soon.
11. CBS Network — Happy Together
IMDb Description: Claire and Jake have a routined married life, but when megastar Cooper shows up at their door, they get dragged into his life of fame.
IMDb Rating: 5.5
Even though Harry Styles is a producer of this show, 15.38% think that there won't be a happy ending and they could be right. The sitcom wasn't added to the CBS winter schedule, and no additional episodes were ordered. It certainly looks like the end is near for this show which is disappointing, as it has a lot of potential.
10. Fox Network — The Cool Kids
IMDb Description: This sitcom is about three friends at a retirement center who have their comfortable existence rattled when a newcomer joins their community.
IMDb Rating: 6.9
With stars like Leslie Jordan, Vicki Lawrence, David Alan Grier, and Martin, you'd think this show is heading for a long run, but 14.93% think The Cool Kids are not that cool. We don't see this comedy getting canceled any time soon, so we can sit back and relax a while longer.
9. NBC Network — I Feel Bad
IMDb Description: Emet, the perfect mom, boss, wife, friend, and daughter, is learning to be fine with her imperfections.
IMDb Rating: 5.8
Sadly, neither the critics or the audiences like the NBC comedy. 14.05% feel that the female-led NBC comedy will get scrapped. The show seems to have gotten a luke-warm reception from the audience and was not really well-received. It's still too early to tell, but right now, it's not looking that great.
8. ABC Network — The Rookie
IMDb Description: The series follows John Nolan, a 40-year-old man who moves from his comfortable, small-town life to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of being a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department.
IMDb Rating: 8.0
Nathan Fillion plays the oldest rookie at the Los Angeles police department, and we can see why the rating is high for this one. Even though 13.72% think that this show will get canceled, we think it's a long shot. The ratings are as solid as the reception. And having a star like Nathan pretty much guarantees a second season.
7. NBC Network — Manifest
IMDb Description: This is a mysterious story about a flight carrying crew and passengers who have not aged in five years after having some strange turbulence. They discover that the world, however, has, and a more profound mystery unfolds.
IMDb Rating: 7.5
This strange drama has a few twists, but there are 13.38% who think NBC could cancel this sci-fi show soon. They are most probably wrong unless ratings plummet significantly in the next few seasons. In October, NBC ordered more episodes of the show that is best described as Lost meets This Is Us.
6. The CW — All American
IMDb Description: When a star high school football player from South Central is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High School, two separate worlds collide.
IMDb Rating: 7.0
Loosely based on the life of professional football player named Spencer Paysinger, it still manages to get 12.5% who are concerned that the show is not heading for higher ground. The CW, however, beg to differ, as the drama seems to be performing well and has good ratings. So, we can rest assured there will be more seasons on its way.
5. NBC Network — New Amsterdam
IMDb Description: A new medical director breaks the rules to heal the system at America's oldest public hospital.
IMDb Rating: 8.0
When taking into account the high ratings for this show, there is no foreseeable cancellation in the future. The 12.28% of people who are worried about New Amsterdam should stop wasting their time on negative thoughts because this is one of the most successful sitcoms to run in the fall season.
4. FOX Network — Last Man Standing
IMDb Description: This is a comedy about a married father of three who tries to maintain his manliness in a world increasingly dominated by women.
IMDb Rating: 7.6
We saw the first six seasons which aired on ABC, and 11.95% of those who took the survey think Fox will cancel the Tim Allen comedy. Thankfully, we found this network to be rather fitting, and ratings are positively high. So, we don't see any signs of this one getting kicked off any time soon.
3. CBS Network — FBI
IMDb Description: This is a procedural drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the FBI. It involves all the agents combining all their Bureau's skills, intellect and mind-blowing technology to keep New York and the country safe.

It's a solid procedural from the mind of Dick Wolf, so we certainly don't see it sinking down the toilet any time soon.
2. ABC Network — A Million Little Things
IMDb Description: After an unexpected death of a close friend, the remaining group of friends decides to motivate each other to live a fuller life.
IMDb Rating: 7.6
While 11.5% think ABC's set drama could get canceled, we believe they are mistaken. The show started off a hit, and even though levels have not sored to the top, they still have good ratings which are high enough to give them a steady momentum for another season.
1. The CW — Legacies
IMDb Description: Hope Mikaelson is a tribrid daughter of a Vampire/Werewolf hybrid. The story is about her making her way in the world.
