15 MCU Actors Who Scored With Their Second Halves

Everyone loves the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we have gotten used to the faces of the actors portraying our favorite roles. We don’t know what will happen after Avengers: Endgame as some of them might be leaving for good, but for now, we just have to enjoy them as much as we can. Let’s find out a little more about their personal lives and their loved ones.

1. Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky

This couple got married in 2010, a little before Chris landed the part of Thor. Elsa Pataky is better known for her role of Elena Neves in The Fast and the Furious, and they have three kids, India Rose, and the twins, Sasha and Tristan. They have settled their family in Australia and seem to have the perfect relationship as they are just as in love with each other as ever.

They have had problems in the past, of course, as it was hard for Elsa to see her husband become such a popular actor almost overnight. "It puts a lot of pressure on a marriage, but we came out good because there is a lot of love between us and we are very strong personalities but love each other so much. We make it work."

2. Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey

In 2003, Susan Levin produced her first big production called Gothika, where she met her future husband, Robert. Back then, the actor was in the middle of a divorce, and at first, Susan was not sure about his personality as she found him weird, but no one could deny his talent. Shortly after, Downey started courting her, though she rejected him several times.

Fortunately, Robert is no one to give up quickly, and so they eventually started dating. They walked down the aisle in 2005, and now have a son named Exton Elias and a daughter named Avri Roel. Furthermore, the actor credits his wife for helping him come out of his dark times with alcohol and drug use, so we know they are solid.

3. Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett

You can tell by the smile on the actress’ face that she is incredibly happy about her relationship. This couple has been dating since 2017 after they met during a trip to Mexico. Robbie is a singer and musician for the band, Milo Greene. They have been spotted at several events together, looking thoroughly in love.

4. Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson

This couple has definitely passed the test of time, as they have been married since 1980. They met in 1974, and in 1982, they had a daughter named Zoe. She is a freelance film and television producer. However, when their daughter was just a little kid, LaTanya came home to find her husband, who plays Nick Fury, on the floor of their kitchen after ingesting illegal substances.

Luckily, they were able to get the actor all the support he needed. "[They] supported me and pushed me and gave me a reason to get up and go and chase it day after day after day." This proves that all you need is love and hard work to kick a bad habit, as Robert Downey Jr. went through a very similar situation.

5. Chadwick Boseman and Taylor Simone Ledward

Boseman is not the kind of actor that flaunts his personal life. Most of the others on this list have been spotted with their loved ones at several events, but Chadwick is more reserved. We can understand that, but after the success of Black Panther, we need to know more about this handsome fellow. At interviews, he has never said a name but has revealed that there is a lady in his life.

It was recently revealed that the lady is the singer Taylor Simone Ledward, though things have not been confirmed yet. They were first seen together in 2015 and had allegedly been dating since then. However, we cannot say for sure because they like to stay away from the paparazzi, though they were spotted at an NBA All-Star weekend game in Los Angeles.

6. Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost

This actress was married to Ryan Reynolds and then to the French entrepreneur, Roman Dauriac, and she was pregnant with his child during the shooting of Avengers: Age of Ultron. She had his daughter in 2014, but they got a divorce in 2017. Scarlett was not alone for long, however, as she is currently dating Saturday Night Live comedian Colin Jost.

Insiders have stated that Jost is entirely in love and wants to marry the actress. They were seen holding hands during the Avengers: Infinity War premiere, but other than that, they like to keep away from the spotlight. They both refused to talk much about their partners during an interview, and maybe, this is best for them.

7. Paul Rudd and Julie Yaeger

After working on Clueless, the actor moved to New York for work and needed to find a publicist, so he met Julie. They started dating shortly after and they got married in 2003 and had two children, Jack and Darby. We have seen this couple together at all his movie premiers, and the entire family was there when Paul got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

8. Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter

Despite having been married for only three years, these two lovebirds knew each other for more than 17 years before they decided to date. In 2014, they got engaged and walked down the aisle in 2015. During an interview, Benedict said, “I have a family which gives me a purpose that is greater than me and more important than me beyond my work and my public life."

9. Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego-Saldana

The actress started dating this Italian artist in 2013, and they got secretly married a few months after. “As soon as we decided we were going to get married, we didn't wait. We did it three weeks later." Furthermore, this couple decided that the husband was going to take the wife’s surname too. She is Zoe Saldana-Perego, while he is Marco Perego-Saldana. Their three sons use Perego-Saldana.

10. Dave Bautista and Sarah Jade

This heavyweight wrestler has been married three times. First, with a woman named Glenda with whom he had three daughters. Then, with a woman named Angie, and they were together for eight years. Finally, he has been married to Sarah Jade, a pole dancer and 20 years younger than him, for three years. We hope this relationship will last the rest of their lives.

11. Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly

This couple met in 2001 while working in the film A Beautiful Mind, but Bettany, who had a crush on Jennifer for ages, would not dare ask her out. After the tragic events of September 11, he decided to change his life and asked her out. The actress was once asked how Paul made her fall in love, and she said, “He started playing guitar and it was all over."

12. Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam

This is another union between MCU and Saturday Night Live. They dated for several years before walking down the aisle in 2012. They have two daughters, but during her first pregnancy, she was shooting for How I Met Your Mother, and her characters could not have children. They had to hide her growing belly cleverly.

13. Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney

This couple met way back when Ruffalo had nothing. “I was living in a dump and didn’t even have a driver’s license or a credit card. She thought I was a mess, but she believed in me and kept encouraging me." Furthermore, he knew that she was meant for him the moment he saw her, and it is clear that he loves her still.

"Sunny and my friendship-slash-marriage-slash-love affair is... changing and growing along the way. Honestly, it hasn't been without its difficulties, its shortcomings; it hasn't been without joy or learning or developing."

14. Josh Brolin and Kathryn Boyd

Before Kathryn, the actor, who plays the villain Thanos, had two previous wives with two kids from his first marriage. However, he is completely enamored with his current wife and writes about her often in his Instagram account. “You are on top of my world. You are the cream of the crop, top of the heap, the creme de la creme." We hope they last a lifetime.

15. Evangeline Lilly and Norman Kali

The actress was married for a year in 2004, but after a terrible experience, she has apparently given up on the institution of marriage. She has been dating Norman Kali since 2010, who she met on the set of Lost. They have two kids together, but they might never walk down the aisle. “I don't believe in forever promises. I don't think it's realistic.”

What did you think of these couples? Did you know most of the pretty people in the MCU were taken? It’s excellent hearing that they are in happy relationships. If you liked this article, share it with your friends who love knowing more about celebrities. See you next time!
