7 Strongest 'Avengers' That Would Wipe The Floor With 5 of The Weakest
The MCU has been entertaining us for the past decade, but Marvel’s stories have been out there for many years. Avengers: Infinity War taught us a bunch of things regarding our favorite superheroes. Some are just as strong, while others might have become even better since the events of that film. Here we have the strongest and the weakest characters.
1. Captain America (Strongest)
Steve Rogers was injected with a super serum which gave him otherworldly abilities, so of course, he is one of the strongest in this list. He has faced against the Chitauri, Ultron and even Iron Man and those that sided with him during Civil War. No one knew how he would fair against Thanos, but he looked pretty awesome with his new shields.
He helped save Wanda and Vision from Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive and battled hand-to-hand against the weird-dog aliens that attacked Wakanda. He was even able to stop Thanos from closing his fist for a while before he obtained the Mind Stone. We can all agree that that makes him a pretty impressive superhero.
2. Hulk (Weakest)
We saw him as a champion in Thor: Ragnarok, and he has always been pretty impressive. He has fought against any number of great creatures like the Chitauri sea monster, Thor, Loki, and even Hela’s Fenris Wolf. However, after facing Thanos in the opening scene of the movie, he became one of the weakest characters.
After taking a beating and being sent plummeting to Earth, it seemed that the Hulk got angry and would not come out for the rest of the film, forcing Bruce Banner to use a giant Iron Man suit to help against the Black Order. However, he was still pretty weak because he could not do anything to the Mad Titan.
3. Thor (Strongest)
How do you beat a god? Thor is the God of Thunder and capable of surviving almost anything as we saw in the movie. He lost everything he valued in the opening scene and went on a quest to create Stormbreaker with Rocket Raccoon and Groot. He returned to Earth to battle against the Black Order with an immeasurable amount of power.
Furthermore, he was the only one who was able to strike Thanos in the most vulnerable way, although he could have chosen a different spot. Not even Iron Man was able to wound the villain in such a manner, and that is pretty impressive considering that the Mad Titan had all the stones by then.
4. Ant-Man (Weakest)
Of course, this character did not appear in Infinity War, but when you analyze Scott Lang, you understand why we are calling him one of the weakest. In his case, he only becomes powerful thanks to the suit. Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place before the events of the Infinity War, but the post-credits scene showed us what happened.
Scott entered the Quantum Realm and could only come out with the help of Hank Pym and the rest. However, they were turned to dust, and now he is seemingly trapped in that world. There are many theories regarding his escape from that land, and how he will become a key player in the fight against the Mad Titan.
5. Iron Man (Strongest)
If you are a fan of the saga, then you know that Tony Stark is the most important character in the MCU, and is the one most worried about a possible invasion to Earth. That is why he created Ultron, and in Infinity War, we saw that the nanotechnology in his chest, allows him to make any kind of suit and weapon needed. He was able to defeat Kull Obsidian and made Thanos bleed after a lengthy battle.
6. Vision (Weakest)
After seeing him in Age of Ultron as one of the most powerful characters in the Avengers, it was surprising that he was so weak in Infinity War. He needed to be protected by his girlfriend, Wanda, and the rest of the humans like Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon. He should have been a major fighter in Wakanda, but instead, he died after Thanos got the Mind Stone.
7. Spider-Man (Strongest)
One of the best parts of the film was Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, who became an official Avenger and got a new suit during Infinity War. He helped Iron Man and Doctor Strange while facing the Black Order, and his pop culture knowledge actually saved them from Ebony Maw’s telekinesis. He was a major player in the fight against Thanos on Titan, and everyone cried when he turned to dust.
8. Hawkeye (Weakest)
He is another character we did not see in Infinity War as he is supposed to be on house arrest, but it is doubtful that his arrows would have helped much in the fight in Wakanda. Many thought he would show up surprisingly, but Clint Barton was actually serving time at home after the problems regarding the Sokovia Accords.
9. Black Panther (Strongest)
The Vibranium suit and technology makes this hero pretty impressive, but he is more than just an outfit. He has endurance and expertise in the martial arts. He is also the king of Wakanda who used his whole army and technology to protect the Mind Stone from getting stolen as much as we could. Sadly, he also vanished after the snap.
10. Star-Lord (Weakest)
Most fans blame him for the fact that the heroes could not take the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos. However, people used to love him for his personality, his combat abilities, and his blasters. Furthermore, he also has certain Celestial talents that could have come in handy against the Mad Titan. Unfortunately, we did not see any of this in Infinity War, and he was just a weakling pinning for his girlfriend.
11. Scarlet Witch (Strongest)
No one can deny that the Scarlet Witch is perhaps the strongest character in the MCU at the moment. She was able to detain Thanos while trying to destroy the Mind Stone and achieved this impressive feat. The Black Order was even afraid of her, not daring to go get Vision if she was around. She has many abilities that range from power rays that come out of her hands to telekinesis.
12. Doctor Strange (Strongest)
He first showed his great abilities in Thor: Ragnarok after teleporting Thor around the Sanctum Santorum and being able to pinpoint Odin’s location. He even made beer from nothing. His magical skills are varied, and he was a worthy opponent for Ebony Maw, one of Thanos’ strongest offspring. He cloned himself during the fight in Titan and faced against the enemy who possessed four Infinity Stones. Strange also used the Time Stone to travel to alternate futures.
What did you think of the weakest compared to the strongest? Do you agree with our choices and the reasons? Characters change from one movie to another and Avengers: Endgame is bound to reveal remarkable things from the ones we consider pathetic right now.
