'Blue Bloods' releases first photos of Eddie’s wedding dress and hints at the upcoming ceremony

On Friday, “Blue Bloods” revealed the wedding dress that will be worn by one of their stars. Vanessa Ray, who plays Eddie Janko posed with the beautiful white gown in the images.

The star even “snuck in” her real-life husband to see her selections! Janko will be marrying fellow star, Will Estes.

For her wedding gown fittings, Vanessa Ray brought in her husband musician Landon Beard to help her choose the perfect dress. Ray and Beard have been married for three years.

According to the actress, her husband is her favorite substitute for her regular style guru Erin Reagan played by Bridget Moynahan. He was chosen for the job because her style guru couldn't make the event.

On “Blue Bloods” Ray’s character Eddie Janko will marry Jamie Reagan who is played by Will Estes. Speaking about changing up her character’s look, the actress joked, "I forgot what my body looked like in real clothes."

The series is building up the hype around the long-awaited wedding day. In the upcoming Season 9 episode, Janko will be seen looking for the perfect dress for her big day.

She will be accompanied by her future sister-in-law, Erin and Erin's daughter, Nicky Reagan-Boyle played by Sami Gayle. However, the February 1 episode will have its normal story-line.

Janko and her fiancé will need to help a woman whose son nearly dies from some bad medication. Although the exact wedding day hasn’t been mentioned, the pair has already secured a venue.

With February being the month of love anything is possible. The next “Blue Bloods” episode will be at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.

Head of the Reagan family, Frank Reagan played by Tom Selleck had this to say about the women on the show:

"It's an absolute fact that the women on the show are very strong," he said adding, "and that's something that has always been important for us."
