Charmed Cast: Where Are They Now?
There have been a bunch of reboots from old shows lately like ‘Full House’ and ‘Will & Grace’. The ‘Charmed’ reboot was bound to happen, and now that it is out, it has reminded fans how much they loved the original “Power of Three”. However, many people might not know much about the lives of the cast after the show ended. Here are the details.
SHANNEN DOHERTY - PRUE HALLIWELL
Fans were shocked when Doherty left ‘Charmed’ right at the peak of its success. While the sisters showed immense love for each other on screen, it seemed that behind-the-scenes, something else was going on. Apparently, Shannen and Alyssa Milano did not get along, and one day Milano told producers that she would leave if her co-star didn’t.
The reasons behind their feud were never revealed, but many suspected that it was because Alyssa was gaining more popularity than the ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ star. A year after she left the series, Shannen married professional Poker player Rick Solomon, but their relationship ended nine months later. She appeared in a couple of projects since then and had a failed reality show called ‘Breaking up with Shannen Doherty’.
The actress also participated in ‘Dancing with the Stars’, but she was eliminated early in the season. In 2015, she was diagnosed with an advanced case of breast cancer, and after a long battle with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery, Shannon announced she was in remission in 2017. However, Doherty said that the struggle made her a better person and a great professional.
ALYSSA MILANO - PHOEBE HALLIWELL
After the end of the show, Alyssa continued with her acting career and started several businesses, including a lingerie line with her co-star Holly Marie Combs. Milano joined forces with UNICEF to raise awareness on ongoing global initiatives, and she became an author as well after publishing a book about her love of baseball titled ‘Safe at Home’.
Her interest in baseball came after she started dating Dave Bugliari, a sports agent. They dated for three years before marrying in 2009, and two years later they welcomed their first son. In 2014, they had a daughter. Younger fans might know her for Netflix’s ‘Insatiable’ and ‘Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later’.
The actress regularly posts pictures of her family on social media, and her career keeps going. She once said that she was just grateful to keep working in the industry she loves. Milano continues to be popular despite how much time has gone by and how people’s opinions change from from season to season. Everyone just loves her.
HOLLY MARIE COMBS - PIPER HALLIWELL
Right after the show finished its run, Combs had her second child, and she has focused on her family since then. She was married to David W. Donoho, and they welcomed a third son soon after, but their marriage ended in 2011. Younger fans might remember her for ‘Pretty Little Liars’ where she played the role of Ella Montgomery.
When that series ended in 2017, Combs joined Shannon Doherty for a reality series titled ‘Off the Map with Shannon and Holly’. It was a 6-episode show where the actresses drove through the Southeast part of the U.S. Unfortunately, it was not that successful. Her latest work was the lead role in a movie about a New York City writer called ‘Love’s Complicated’. It was revealed in 2017 that she got engaged to her boyfriend, Mike.
ROSE MCGOWAN - PAIGE MATTHEWS
The actress revealed later on that she suffered so much stress on the set of ‘Charmed’ because she was expected to be better than Shannon Doherty and as a result, she had fevers all the time. However, Rose gained a lot of success thanks to the show, earning her a spot in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rogriguez’ film ‘Grindhouse’.
She even directed her own short movie titled ‘Dawn’. Her career did much better than her personal life. After a disastrous relationship with Marilyn Manson, she dated several other men for a short period. Her only lasting relationship was with artist Davey Detail, and they got married but separated two years later. McGowan is currently in a relationship with model Rain Dove.
On the other hand, the actress is currently more focused on activism and fighting for feminist rights. She was one of the first women to speak up about her unfortunate experience at the hands of Harvey Weinstein, who raped her during a Sundance Film Festival and paid her $100,000 to stay quiet. She was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2017 for her bravery on that matter.
BRIAN KRAUSS - LEO WYATT
While we loved Leo and Piper’s relationship, the actor was actually in love with Alyssa Milano, who had just gotten divorced from her first husband, Cinjun Tate. Meanwhile, he also ended his marriage to Beth Bruce around that time, and it was speculated that the reason was his affair with Milano. After finishing his relationship with the actress, Brian has kept his personal life private.
His career after ‘Charmed’ took off successfully, and he has credits in TV shows like ‘Mad Men’, ‘Castle’, ‘Highway to Heaven’, and many more. Krauss also supports children's charities because after he became a father, he felt that it was everyone’s responsibility to care for kids. He focuses on organizations that give to hospitals.

JULIAN MCMAHON - COLE TURNER/BELTHAZOR
Cole’s tragic relationship with Phoebe was one of the best parts of the show, and the actor is apparently just as romantic in real life. He has been married three times. His first wife was Danni Minogue, and then came the actress Brooke Burns, who gave him a daughter. He loves being a father. “I love that fact that I’m going to go home and my kid is going to jump in the pool with me. Brooke and I see a lot of each other. There’s no animosity.”
The actor then met Kelly Paniagua, a model, and dated her for eleven years. They got married in 2014 and continued going strong since then. While he has not appeared in any more big-budget projects since ‘Fantastic Four’, he recently starred in the Australia film ‘Swinging Safari on the Gold Coast’, and he took his wife and daughter to promotional events.

KALEY CUOCO - BILLIE JENKINS
Not many people remember Cuoco from ‘Charmed’, as she became a huge star thanks to ‘The Big Bang Theory’. She married the professional equestrian Karl Cook in 2018, and just like her husband, she is devoted to horses. Kaley is also an activist for animal adoption. She has three dogs, two rabbits, and seven show horses.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ is currently airing its final season, and Kaley is also working on voicing Harley Quinn in the animated series, and she is also credited as executive producer. Every fan will miss Penny once the sitcom is over, but it’s safe to expect great things from this actress in the future.
