When Heat In Arizona Was So High That Things Melted Instantly (As Opposed To This Winter)

Recently it was known that the Polar Vortex was hitting some cities in the United States, but this is not the only type of extreme temperature that can occur. Arizona is known for the high temperature that can reach at some points of the year, like when it almost reached a record-breaking 122 °F (50 °C) recorded on June 26, 1990. Next, you will see some of the crazy things that can happen due to the extreme heat.

1. A Reddit user posted this and commented: ‘My neighbors put up this fake rock plastic wall over the winter. It's slowly melting away in the heat.’

2. Why buy an oven when you can bake cookies inside your car?

3. Sometimes the inside of cars gets so hot that drivers need to do this type of things.

4. In some occasions, Phoenix gets so hot that even the street signs start melting. 

5. The ground gets so hot that it can harm dogs and cats’ paws, so they must use shoes.

6. Plastic is not an option in Arizona. They learned the lesson when this plastic mailbox melted because of the heat.  

7. Here is another person who decided to take advantage of the weather in Arizona and baked some cookies.
