Inside Meghan Possible Alternatives For Giving Birth, Designing Nursery and Estimated Due Date

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are notoriously known for breaking and bending the royal rules. And, with something as significant and life-changing as childbirth, the pair definitely won't be holding back this time. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to move into their new home at Frogmore Cottage (which cause a huge commotion) in just a few short weeks. With time flying by so fast, the couple has begun preparation for their baby - this includes the actual process of delivering.

BREAKING THE RULES - AGAIN

From the beginning, Meghan has made it clear that she plans on a natural delivery. Acupuncture and hypnobirthing are also going to be a part of the process. Ross Barr, deemed as the acupuncturist-to-the-stars, is confirmed to be assisting Markle as the end of her third trimester nears. Apparently, both Harry and Meghan have already checked into the acupuncturist's private clinic before their wedding to help the couple cope with stress.

Aside from acupuncture, Meghan has also decided to take up a unique and interesting birthing technique, called hypnobirthing. It helps relieve the immense pain experienced during labor, as well as teaching proper deep breathing:

“Meg wants a natural birth if she can have one. Her mother is very into anything that is holistic and natural and having been brought up with yoga and mindfulness, it’s all very much part of Meghan’s birth plan,” says the source.

With her final decision, Meghan has broken some royal customs once again by being the first royal in centuries to hire a doula, according to The Sun. A doula is a birthing assistant that provides emotional support during the process, and it's reported that Markle had consulted North London-based doula, Lauren Mishcon. The doula was asked to confirm the news, to which she responded with: “I’m busy in spring. I could not possibly say,” she posted, with a winking-face emoji.

THE ROYAL NURSERY

Thanks to reporter Katie Nicholl, we've also been lucky to find out some details about the royal baby's nursery design. The renovation has already started, with lots of work to be done. We also know for a fact that there will be a very specific color scheme too.

In a sit-down interview with ET, Nicholl spilled the deets: "They've decided not to find out the sex, but according to sources who are helping with [their new home] renovations, the nursery itself is going to be very modern. Don't expect to see any baby pink or baby blue. Apparently, it's going to be a monochrome palette—whites and grays, I'm told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex's nursery."

We're also so glad to hear that the couple is doing well! Amidst all the negative press and drama that Meghan has had to endure throughout her pregnancy, both future-parents are equally excited and happy. Harry's reportedly going all-out installing various technology (top-of-the-line cameras, security windows, and a state-of-the-art stereo system). In the meantime, Meghan is doing her share of work too, by polishing up the room with small details - such as creating mood boards and picking out eco-friendly vegan paint.

Katie continued to tell ET, "Behind the scenes, she and Harry are really happy at the moment. They are super excited about the spring birth of their baby. [Meghan] has told friends that this is the most exciting [time], the happiest period in her life... I'm told that she is upbeat and that she is happy."

THE BIG DAY IS COMING

It always seems like there's never enough time in the world to finish everything we've planned - especially when you have a birthing deadline coming up as soon as Meghan's is! It's unclear when exactly the baby is supposed to come, but we do know that the couple is expecting their first child in the early spring. In an official state, the Palace officially confirmed that the arrival will happen during that season:

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."

However, more information was spilled recently during the Duke and Duchess' visit to Birkenhead with Prince Harry in January, Markle shared with a member of the crowd that she was six months pregnant. After doing the math, it's most likely that the baby will be arriving sometime in April. Furthermore, pregnancy announcements are usually made after three months, meaning the Duchess most likely already had her 12-week scan at that point.

We can all make speculations, but there is no definite way to find out when the big day is actually going to come. All we can do now is sit back and wait for further reports, and hopefully, for some more exciting news to be announced! What do you guys think - is the due date accurate after everything we've heard, or could it possibly just be some nonsense rumors? Do you think there's a deeper meaning as to why they decided to choose such a specific color scheme? We'd love to hear your thoughts, so comment below! And make sure to stay tuned for some more exciting news.
