At The Eve of Prince Louis' 1st Birthday, We Look Into Kate Middletone's Having More Kids In The Future
Without a doubt, April is going to be a month full of surprises. First of all, we have the possibility of welcoming baby Sussex, but apart from the possible birth, we might get to see another child-like celebration. It turns out that Prince Louis's birthday is in April as well.
Therefore, there is every likelihood his parents could splash out on a big and lavish party for the littlest one in the family, especially amidst the parental rumors that surround the Cambridge couple. Haven't you heard about them? Do not panic! We have all the details about it in today's article. Scroll down!
FACTS ABOUT BABY LOUIS
On April 23, the whole world welcomed His Royal Highness, Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge. Following the royal tradition, the youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was born at the historical Lindo wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
As you might remember, many royals have been born there, including Princes William and Harry as well as Prince George and Princess Charlotte. At that time, reports indicated that Louis weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces, so he was a chubby and healthy newborn. Some months later, the British monarchy celebrated Louis' christening on July 9, 2018, following his baptism in the Chapel Royal at St. James' Palace.
And now that the baby boy will turn a year old, everybody is wondering whether the Cambridge family will throw a big party on his honor. The chances are that the answer is yes. Why, you would ask? Hello! Magazine noted that first birthdays are extra crucial for Kate Middleton.
Carole Middleton, the Duchess' mother, revealed to the source that all milestones in a child's life are worth a celebration, but it seems that Kate has a soft spot for the very first one. It turns out that when the Duchess was working at the family business, the party supply company called 'Party Pieces,' she took charge of the First Birthday brand. Carole explained further:
"My children have all worked for the business. Catherine started the First Birthday brand — she chose the products and looked after all the imagery and the catalog production. Pippa set up the blog, as we didn’t have one. James came up with the idea of personalized cakes."
With the help of her three children, Carole managed to set up a profitable business. And even now that Catherine, Pippa, and James are leading busy lives, their mother still asks for advice from time to time. Perhaps, that's the secret ingredient for success.
The company has been in the market for 30 years, and its net worth is estimated at $50 million. So, although neither Kate nor William has said anything about a birthday party, we are eagerly waiting for one. That way, we will get to see more about the fifth in the line of succession to the British throne.
So far, Prince Louis hasn't been as public as his older siblings. Plus, the almost one-year-old baby is the royal child fans know the least about. Therefore, bday pics would be highly-regarded! We can already imagine him laughing and enjoying a good time.
ONE MORE SHOCKING REASON FOR THE CELEBRATION
Duke William and Duchess Kate cannot miss on the opportunity to celebrate their last son's natal day. However, it is probable that the couple can be rejoicing over the birth of another girl. That's right! You did not misread! Rumor has it that Middleton is pregnant with a second daughter.
It seems that we cannot close the door on the idea of the Cambridge lovebirds expanding their brood with a fourth child. According to CheatSheet, one of William's pals unveiled the Duke of Cambridge "would love to emulate his grandmother and have four children, and he would be very happy if it was another girl."
Moreover, the same source added that Kate has always wanted to have four children. So, it seems that her wish might soon become a reality as there has been a buzz surrounding Kensington Palace heralding a new royal baby. According to the same source, the parents of three might be expecting another offspring this year!
"A baby girl is on the way for the radiant royal couple," reported the source. But having another child would mean that the line of succession to the British throne would change again, with Prince George in the third place followed by Princess Charlotte, and then we have Prince Louis in the fifth position. The fourth possible kid would be the sixth one, pushing Prince Harry down to the seventh spot.
As you might remember, Kate underwent severe morning sickness during her three pregnancies. This bad experiences could prevent her from going through the ordeal a fourth time, or at least that is what John Haley, a landlord of the Old Boot pub who attended the Cambridge wedding in 2011, told People:
"I can’t imagine Kate will want any more given the ordeal that she goes through every pregnancy. I should think that three children are enough."
THE RESPONSES, INCLUDING SOME ROYAL ONES
Amidst the increasing buzz and speculation, Kensington Palace was forced to address the issue. Express asserted that the Palace neither confirm nor deny the claim; however, it did state that if Kate were with child, an official statement would be released.
Despite the declaration, a flurry of bets has already sparked. Harry Aitkenhead from Bookies Coral claimed, "Our odds show that there’s every chance that Kate and Wills might add to their growing family, and a fourth baby is certainly a possibility."
According to them, the odds for one more sibling for George, Charlotte, and Louis this year are at 3/1, while the likelihoods of occurrence in the following years are at 6/4. Moreover, Ladbrokes put its bets at 3/1 that the Cambridge marriage could expect a fourth baby.
"It’s looking increasingly likely Wills, and Kate will welcome another family member in the near future," noted Ladbrokes' spokesman, Alex Apati. Even though William and Kate haven't said anything official yet, the Duchess did hint something last month during a walkabout in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, according to People.
After meeting an adorable five-month-old boy called James Barr, Middleton told his dad, Alan Barr, "He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody." The latter word means to be contemplating, feel moody, or ready to have children.
Alan then boldly asked her about a baby number four, to which Duchess Kate cheerfully responded with a laugh, "I think William would be a little worried." Previously, Middleton also expressed her excitement for Harry and Meghan's firstborn, adding it was such a special time to have little kiddies.
It seems that we will have to wait for an official confirmation of the fourth pregnancy for Duchess Catherine, but the idea already seems very thrilling! Do you think William and Kate should have another heir to the throne? Let us know in the comment section below. Until next time!
