Meghan Markle Is Going To Disappear From Public Until Giving Birth
Pregnancy makes one bloom and we are so happy to see Meghan glowing with happiness. She sure knows how to make pregnancy look good. From colorful outfits to beautiful stilettos, she steals the scene every time we see her at any engagement. We won't be seeing her so often for some time though and we will sure miss her sweet smiles.
As we all know, The royal family is getting set to have a new addition to their number. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is already 8 months pregnant, and any minute now, we expect to hear some good news. As always, there are a lot of speculations surrounding the Royal Pregnancy.
Even though the sex of the baby is still unknown, there have been lots of guesses that it's going to be male which if true will make the new baby the Fourth male from the Line of Queen Elizabeth. The current story is that the Duchess is expected to limit all public appearances.
She will be going off the social radar for some time as she made the last international travel when she went to Morocco. It was not her first time being to the African Continent, as an actress, she had been to Rwanda on Philanthropic grounds before she entered into Royalty. But this was the couple’s first official trip together.
Earlier, the couple had taken a 16-day Royal tour to Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and the Fiji Islands, where they had 76 engagements. That seems like a whole lot. She also had a massive baby shower in New York before going back to London and traveling to Morocco that same month.
She sure knows how to keep active despite a protruding baby bump. The Pregnancy didn’t seem to limit her schedules or keep her confined within the country.
Meghan made her last public appearance at the "Commonwealth Day" Celebrations where she glowed as usual. She and Kate Middleton shared a friendly cheek kiss, putting a stop to every rumor of any rife between them.
According to a source;
“It’s not always been easy, there have been issues behind the scenes, but Harry and Meghan want to leave on good terms and Kate especially has been making a real effort,”
Another source says:
“There are no bad feelings and I think Kate was keen to put an end to these rift rumors. She has no problem with Meghan and she has made it clear to Meghan that she’s there for advice or whatever Meghan might need.”
As confirmed by Kensington Palace, the Duchess will still keep up with private meetings which are already lined up. All public appearances are limited to allow her to proceed on bed rest before the D-day.
According to a source;
“Meghan will continue working privately behind the scene taking meetings," the source added. "She will also use this period to catch up with those involved in patronage-related endeavors”
In relation to this, she was said to have held a meeting at Kensington Palace sometime in the last week with the National Theatre's artistic director Rufus Norris and executive director Lisa Burger. The National Theatre is one of Meghan's first royal patronages, which was announced this January. This mama is sure a hard worker.
Taking a leave before birth seems to be the custom of the Royal Family which we've seen happen time and time again with Kate Middleton. She took breaks before she gave birth to each one of her three children and even longer ones after birth. Who could blame her? Royalty or not, she is still a human who needs to recover physically after the rigorous time of pregnancy and childbirth.
If Meghan decides to follow the example of Kate, we might not see her in the next three months. Kate returned to work quickly after the birth of Prince George and 3 months after giving birth to Princess Charlotte. She took the longest break after the birth of Prince Louis, returning to work 6 months after.
The Royal biographer, Duncan Larcombe said;
"It is traditional for new royal mums to take a six-month break from official engagements. The [royal] wedding doesn’t count because it was a 'family affair' but other than that, she will pick and choose her engagements."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also planning on quitting Kensington Palace and are preparing to make their home at Frogmore cottage, on the Queen’s Windsor Estate. This does not in any way affect the relationship between the two families although it might affect joint public-private appearances. Builders are already racing against time to get the Cottage ready before the arrival of the new baby.
Reports also have it that the Duchess is planning on mending broken fences between her and her father after the baby is born. We do hope that the birth of the new baby will enhance the estranged relationship between the Duchess, her dad, and half-sister, Samantha.
The relationship with her dad broke down after he didn’t attend her wedding and further badmouthed her marriage into the Royal Family. Whatever it becomes, we do hope that the Duchess experiences the full joy of Motherhood with the birth of her first child and consequently, her relationship with her family will also be healed.
Report haven’t confirmed when she will return to public appearances after the birth but we definitely hope it will be soon. We do not want to go so long without seeing her ultra-chic fashion. Since she worked well into her pregnancy, she might decide to take a long break after delivery. Whatever she decides, she sure deserves the rest after working so hard these many months.
We are keeping our fingers crossed and anxiously waiting for the birth of the newest addition to the royal family and you can be sure we will be among the first to share the news with you. So, you want to keep it locked on here.
