How Many Duggars Are Married And Who’s Most To Marry Next?
The Duggars are one of the biggest families in the United States. With so many kids, it can be hard to keep track of all of them with respect to where each one is in his/her life, how many have tied the knot, how many now have children of their own, and more.
Here’s how many Duggars have married, plus who fans think is next in line to get will get hitched.
JOSH DUGGAR AND ANNA KELLER
The oldest of the Duggar sons and also the first to be married. Josh and Anna met each other first during a Christian homeschooling conference when Anna was still a teenager.
The pair wedded in September 2008 and started raising their own family. They now have five kids – three boys and two girls.
However, their union has not been all smooth riding. Just a month after their fourth baby was born, a scandal broke while Josh was working for the Family Research Council in Washington DC.
A police report stated that the eldest Duggar son had been investigated on charges of sexual molestation, including improperly touching his younger sisters.
A few months later, newspapers reported he had an account on the website Ashley Madison, a company that helps expedite adultery.
Despite all the scandals, Anna chose to work through the difficulties with her husband. Josh went into rehab and apologized for his actions.
JOHN DAVID DUGGAR AND ABBIE BURNETT
John is the second-oldest Duggar (along with Jana, his twin sister, who is not married), but he is the one who got wedded the most recently, on November 3, 2018.
Followers excitedly viewed the TLC special episode, which hit the headlines thanks to the sensational, drawn-out first kiss between the newlyweds. Some described it as sweet while others said they should have preserved that intimacy for private.
In any case, the couple is clearly in love and supporters are already awaiting their almost inevitable pregnancy announcement.
JILL DUGGAR AND DERICK DILLARD
Jill and Derick Dillard have experienced a lot of controversies. Jill was formerly a star of the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff show, Counting On, but her hubby Derick was forced to leave following a series of homophobic tweets.
Jill could have persisted, but she instead elected to stick by Derick and exit the show. Supporters believe their marriage has suffered since the exit and that they have been experiencing financial inconvenience too.
But on the social network, they maintain that things are as good as ever. The pair married on June 21, 2014. They have two kids together.
JESSA DUGGAR AND BEN SEEWALD
Jessa and Ben met in church and though she felt love at first sight, she feared that he would not be interested since she was older by two and a half years.
Apparently, she need not have been anxious – he was just as smitten as she was. They courted and then went on to marry on November 1, 2014. They have two boys together.
JINGER DUGGAR AND JEREMY VUOLO
Jinger got to meet Jeremy through her brother-in-law, Ben Seewald. The couple was introduced to each other at a religious meeting in Texas that Jeremy hosted at his residence.
They hit it off immediately and courted for only one month before getting married on November 5, 2016. Despite the fact that it is typical for Duggars to making babies right away, Jinger and Jeremy did not have their first baby until two years after their marriage, in 2018.
This led followers to speculate if they were encountering fertility issues or using birth control. But that is one detail they are keeping private.
JOSEPH DUGGAR AND KENDRA CALDWELL
Joseph officially asked for Kendra’s hand in marriage at his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding. They made it formal themselves on September 8, 2017, and welcomed their child in June 2018.
It’s doubtful that this baby will be their last – Kendra has openly expressed her desire for a big family.
“We would love to have more kids if the Lord blesses us. As many as He wants to give us, we’ll be happy to take them,”
JOSIAH DUGGAR AND LAUREN SWANSON
It is less than one year since Josiah and Lauren wedded at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Arkansas. Their first wedding anniversary will be on June 30, 2019.
The pair had one of the briefest courtships of the Duggars. They were family friends first, then embarked on a trip to New Zealand with a group. They declared their courtship right after they returned and Josiah proposed just 41 days later.
JOY-ANNA DUGGAR AND AUSTIN FORSYTH
Disregard all those being pregnant before wedding gossips you have been hearing about Joy-Anna Duggar. Like all the rest of her family, she most likely waited until marriage to have relations with her partner.
Joy-Anna and Austin got married on May 26, 2017, and she pretty much became pregnant during their honeymoon. The couple welcomed a son in February 2018.

WHO IS NEXT TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE?
Fans expect Jason Duggar to be next to choose a life-partner. Right now, none of the Duggars is officially courting (at least none is known to the public). But followers suspect Jason Duggar may be the next in line since he was rumored to be courting lately.
The speculations flew because Jason had supposedly started seeing Lauren Caldwell, who is the younger sister of Joe Duggar’s wife — Kendra Caldwell. Right now, it is up in the air whether the two are truly an item.
Thus, it is anyone’s guess who might be the next Duggar to say 'I do'. Fans would also love to see Jana Duggar tie the knot; she is the oldest of the Duggar daughters, but she has not found “Mr Right” just yet.
Who do you think will be the next Duggar to tie the knot and why? Please feel free to leave a comment and don't forget to share this article with other fans of the Duggars family.
