Controversy over Mark Ruffalo’s earnings from ‘The Avengers’

The run which actor Mark Ruffalo had with the MCU franchise was a really good one. With the recent release of the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ marking the end of the current phase of the franchise. It might be safe to say that the time has come for the actor to move on to other projects. Although the case might be that of prosperity for Mark, as he was actually not always motivated to stay in the acting scene. As a matter of fact, a time existed in his life where he was ready to quit acting and launch into another career path.

A CHILDHOOD DREAM

Acting for Mark has been a dream ever since he was a child. He always knew he wanted to build a career in Hollywood and this prompted him to attend the Stella Adler School of Acting. With time, he co-founded the Orpheus Theatre Company. His significant work in theatre began to earn him television and movie roles. The up in his career began when he met with the playwright Kenneth Lonergan. Among the number of roles, he landed in Lonergan’s works were in ‘This is our Youth’ as well as 2000’s ‘You can count on me.’ This eventually led to more movie roles like ‘Collateral’ and ‘The kids are all right.’

THE REASON MARK RUFFALO ALMOST QUIT ACTING

While it is very obvious that Mark is enjoying success now, it was not all that easy along the way. Mark in an interview spoke about his struggle to keep up his acting career for years. He said it took him decades before he could actually get off the ground. He informed the host in the interview that he was what you would call a “30-year overnight sensation.” Apparently, it took Mark 600 auditions to break forth into acting. As unbelievable as it may seem, it started with 600 auditions with no success. Mark noted that:

“Most smart people would have quit when it takes that long.” So, when the struggle was taking a toll on him, he thought of throwing in the towel and quitting show business."

He continued saying,

"The light in his life then was his mother who would not hear of him letting go of his dream of becoming an actor.  He recalled that he could not do anything else and she let him know that if he tried to quit, she was never going to speak to him again."

THE CONTROVERSIAL FACTOR

Ruffalo has come to be known as the actor who carelessly reveals spoilers for upcoming Marvel movies. As a result of this, actor Don Cheadle who plays the role of James Rhodes has refused to do press tours with Mark. On ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,’ Don informed the host that Mark is “careless” and always talks too much when it comes to Marvel movies. According to him, Mark runs his mouth a lot and left for him, he does not need the hassle. Don does not want to be sitting next to him when Mark blows the whole reveal of the movie. Apparently, Mark has this in common with Tom Holland who plays Spiderman, they are both too chatty.
