Carrie's brother Tom Fisher shared with E! News that he's happy about the name tribute. “I was very touched Billie chose to honor her mother by naming her son Kingston Fisher. It was very unexpected,” he said. Tom added, “Billie has been known as Billie Lourd her whole life. It is a very loving thing to give that homage back to Carrie.”
THE TATTOO IN HONOR OF CARRIE
In a special tribute to her late mom, on the day Carrie Fisher would have celebrated her 61st birthday, her daughter revealed her new tattoo. A planet, a moon, and stars on her foot. Fisher used to have the same tattoo at the same spot except hers had a pop of purple and blue.
Billie has opened up about how she's been coping with the loss of her mother. "I love being my mother's daughter, and it's something I always will be, but now I get to be just Billie," she shared. When the Cleopatra star married film producer Mike Todd in 1957, Eddie was Mike's best man and Debbie was the matron of honor. The couples were great friends, the Fisher's even named their only son Todd in honor of their relationship with the Todd's. 4 weeks after Todd's birth, Mike lost his life in a plane crash when he was headed to New Mexico.
